My Early Birthday Lunch

My birthday is in 4 days and I was really in the mood for some good Italian food. We have a rewards card for Carino's Italian restaurant which we use often so I had a lot of points and rewards stacked up. I always make it a point to sign up for any rewards cards and sign up for all birthday clubs. Carino's sent me a coupon for a free desert which also made me want to go eat lunch there even more. My family consists of me, my husband, and my three children. We all got a meal plus a drink and after we ate we shared the desert. I gave the waitress my rewards card and my coupon and when she came back I was so excited at the price after all my discounts. My total bill before discounts was around $50 but after all discounts I only paid $4.74, yup you red that right $4.74.

If there is a restaurant or store that you visit often and they offer a rewards card or email sign up to get special offers the best thing to do is sign up. What do you have to lose nothing at all you can save money and get free stuff. This is not the first time I have fed my whole family for under $5. We have all ate at McAlisters for $4.56 because of coupons and we also went on a kids eat free day. If you want to find places in your area that have kids eat free days you can find them Here.

Betty Crocker Cereal Muffin Mix #Review and #Giveaway

One of my favorite cereals is Cinnamon Toast Crunch and has been for a long time. Cinnamon is my favorite flavor for many things I put it on anything that it can go on. There are days that I will eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch for dinner because I love it so much so when My Blog Spark offered me the opportunity to try out a new product from Betty Crocker I very happily said yes.

The new products from Betty Crocker are muffins that taste just like some of my favorite cereals. The flavors they have out right now are Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, and Coca Puffs. I was sent all three flavors and a special prize pack which included an apron, a spoon, tumbler, and therm o snack. My kids were ready for me to make them as soon as I opened the box they came in. The muffins are really simple to make which is good for someone like me who is not a good baker. The fist night I made the Cinnamon Toast Crunch muffins and as soon as they cooled down they were already gone we all loved them so much. When I had that late night craving for my favorite cereal all I had to do was eat one muffin and my craving was satisfied. The second night I made the Reeses Puff muffin which was my son’s favorite because that is his favorite kind of cereal. Late in the week I made the Coca puffs muffins which were my husbands and daughters favorite because that is the cereal flavor that they like.

I really enjoyed being able to make these muffins with my kids and that there was a flavor that my whole family could enjoy.
