As a mom and wife I am always looking for different way to show my kids and husband how much I love them and get them to show each other how much they love each other. I was given the opportunity to try out a new type of playful game that gives you a new way to show someone how much you love them.

After reading this beautiful story I knew this was something that I wanted to try with my kids and husband. I took the 5 wooden coins and I hide them in different places for each member of my family. I read them the story but didn’t tell them I had hid the coins in special spots for them. My kids and husband both loved the story so much because it was a super cute story.

The next day as my husband was getting ready to go to work I waited to see if he would find the coin I left him in his bag that he packs to use at the gym after he gets out of work. As he opened the bag to put his stuff in the coin fell out and he saw it. He looked really hard and realized it was the coin from the story. It made him feel so special so he leaned over and gave me a kiss and stuck the coin in his wallet. My husband wants to keep it in his wallet so anytime he opens his wallet he will know that I am at home thinking about him and loving him.

With my children I also hid a coin in special spots. For my oldest son who is 13 I hid his coin in the zipper part of his backpack where he keeps his pens. I wasn’t sure if he would find it but with much surprise I got a text message from him in the middle of the day. My son told me he found the coin and it made his day feel so much better because he knew I put it there because I love him. With my daughter who is 11 I placed her coin in the pocket of her jeans she wore to school.  When she came home she was so excited and ran in the house and gave me a big hug and told me she found her coin. I told all of them this is my special way of letting them know that even when we are apart I am always with them and I will always love them.

The next day after everyone had left the house and it was just me and my 2 year old I started folding clothes and making the bed, as I picked up my pillow I found 2 coins under my pillow with a note written by both kids telling me they love me and I am a great mother this melted my heart. Palmolive Fresh Infusions

I am a member of Influenster.com and I was lucky to be picked to receive a Voxbox which contained 3 full size bottles of Palmolive Fresh Infusions. They came in 3 scents lime basil, lemon thyme, and ginger white tea.
My husband does a lot of dish washing and he always complains about the normal dish washing stuff I normally buy because I usually buy the cheapest one they have. Jennie O and wholly guacamole

The wonderful people at wholly guacamole and Jenni O sent me some really awesome coupons to try out Jennie O's new jalapeno jack burgers and to make a turkey burger and top it with wholly guacamole and wholly salsa. This was something I had never tried before so i was kinda scared. First off I had never really tried to make a turkey burger but I had tried them before and I liked them a lot.
My first try at it didnt come out very well..lol but I knew I had to try again. So I set out to correctly make these turkey burgers and after trying severl different was I was able to make them and did a good job at it. Honestly I would trade in my regular burgers for a turkey burger any time. Turkey burgers are so much better for me and my family.
Adding the guacamole and salsa gave these wonderful turkey burgers a wonderful kick. I am a big fan of both guacamole and salsa so this was great idea for a burger.

Mommy needs a break

I know this not one of my regular post but i have things on mind that i need to get it out.
I have always been the type of mother that never takes time for my self. I dont ever go out because i end up feeling so guilty for leaving my kids. Most of my life i was raised by my grandma and if i wasn't living with her my mom left me with her every weekend so she could take a break from me. I try hard to take some time for my self but i just can't do it. I am not a big drinker and when people invite me out it's usually to a bar or club and im just not into clubs or bars.
I dont even drink wine at home like other people. I have tried to drink a glass of wine at the end of the night, but even that makes me feel guilty.
Am I the only one out there that feels like i shouldn't be out in bars or clubs because I am a mother? How do I let go and learn to take time for my self? I get tired of people talking stuff about me not being able to go anywhere with out the whole family. Uuuggghh help me ill take any advice.
